How to Use the Vielight Neuro Duo
- The Duo headset has four LED modules. They sit above the ears, on the forehead, and on the crown of the head.
- The nasal applicator sends photons through the dense blood vessels above the nose and into the frontal cortex.
- Light pulses at 10 Hz or 40 Hz are clinically significant in dementia studies. As we saw in the hockey player’s concussion case report, the Alpha and Gama devices complement each other.
- Use the GAMMA controller for dementia therapy. Do GAMMA therapy in the morning.
- Use the ALPHA controller for brain injury therapy. Do ALPHA therapy in the afternoon or evening.
- Place the device on your head so that the top module sits over the crown, the side modules sit over the ears, and the front module points to the forehead.
